Power Module
Cyntec Power Modules are Point of Load (POL) DC-DC converters integrating controller chips, chokes and I/O capacitors into a single power management package for step-down(buck) or step-up(boost) applications. The low profile and compact size enables significant saving of board space, high efficiency enhances application performance, and design structure allows automated assembly by standard surface mount equipment. In service, Cyntec provides strong and timely design and development support for customized products and packages.
Cyntec Power Module Solutions for Xilinx FPGA

Cyntec is offering space-saving, high-efficiency DC-DC modules for applications from wearable electronics to large-scale data-center. With our proprietary 3D system-in-package technology, switching regulators are integrated with in-house optimized passive components within a miniaturized footprint. Thermal optimization and up to automotive-level reliability are well taken care to offer our customers easy-to-use high-power-density DC-DC converters. The output current of a single module ranges from 0.3A to 60A, with a conversion efficiency >90% and foot-printing saving up to 50% board area.
Virtex/Kintex UltraScale+ (Total Module Solution)
Total module solution is designed for powering the Virtex/Kintex UltraScale+ series. The current rating of each rail ranges from 1A to 180A at maximum. Considering the high performance of the US+ series, the power modules are designed to fulfill the stringent requirements on transient response and output ripple. Efficiency, thermal, and layout data are all available in the test report of each individual rail.
